The Tommy Gate Original Series hydraulic liftgate was developed for the pickup truck and continues to be a leader in quality and value. It is available with a treadplate steel, extruded aluminum, or steel grating platform.

Available options: Remote pendant control, rubber platform bumpers, tire rack, 2-light or 3-light add-on system [depending on model]

Features: 

  • 1,000 lb. or 1,300 lb. capacities available for full size pickups.
  • 500 lb. or 1,000 lb. capacities available for compact/midsize pickups.
  • Different platform sizes are available.
  • Liftgate brackets - specific for each truck make & model.
  • Curb-side Fixed Control: Toggle style switch with steel shield and timer that deactivates 90 seconds after last operation (helps prevent unauthorized use).
  • 150 Amp circuit breaker with manual reset helps protect the electrical system.
  • The truck’s spare tire is accessible through the liftgate’s Main Frame Box.
