Our Cleveland location, located in Oakwood Village, Ohio, is a full production facility. Additionally, it offers specialized fleet quoting as well as a full parts and service department.
Zoresco’s Truck Equipment Technician provides technical installation services for all truck equipment. Technicians will assist in the scheduling and execution of all new production, maintenance, and service for the location they are assigned. Candidates must have the ability to successfully install, troubleshoot, and repair truck equipment.
Truck equipment involved includes but not limited to: Snow and ice equipment, cranes, lift gates, air compressors, welders, inverters, emergency lighting and a multitude of truck bodies that will include dumps, service, utility, platforms, and custom builds.
REQUIREMENTS:
- One+ years in truck equipment or related field.
- Technical knowledge to perform installs and repairs in a timely manner.
- Flexible and supportive team attitude and contribution toward process improvement
- Detail oriented, self-sufficient professional with a “make it happen" attitude & approach.
DUTIES:
- Efficient quality installations of truck equipment.
- Ability to meet and exceed customer craftsmanship expectations.
- Accurately record production and repair times per job order.
- Be a team player to produce the best the industry has to offer.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Vocational training in body work/vehicle repair or equivalent experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to read and understand trucks specifications document
- Ability to communicate and understand in English
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment substance screening
- CDL class B license is a plus

Zoresco’s Truck Equipment Counter Person / Service Writer provides direct point of contact with customers in a manner that creates a trusting relationship, with accurate and timely communications. They handle scheduling of all maintenance, service, as well as vehicles coming on and off of the property for new production. Candidates must have the ability to successfully act as a truck equipment liaison between customers and technicians. Candidates must also be able to successfully utilize point-of–sale software to generate estimates, invoices, and warranty claims with suppliers. Truck equipment involved includes but not limited to: snow and ice equipment, cranes, lit gates, air compressors, welders, inverters, emergency lighting, compressed natural gas conversions (CNG) and a multitude of truck bodies that will include dumps, service, utility, platforms, and custom builds.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years in truck equipment or related
- Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, email, scanning)
- Must exhibit professionalism and strong ability in communication, customer service, interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, problem analysis, mechanical aptitude and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment

DUTIES:
- Open, prepare and process, work orders, estimates, warranty claims, and retail sales
- Extensive telephone and in person customer communications
- Extensive in person technician communications
- Scheduling of all service work, including pick up and drop off of units
- Tracking of all vehicles on and off of the property for service and new production
- Tracking of all parts necessary to complete repairs
- Monitoring deadlines and assuring we meet or exceed our commitments to our customers
- To process all warranty claims correctly and with a successful disposition

Performs vehicle and equipment maintenance and service. Ensures top quality craftsmanship, and complete customer satisfaction for all assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs light duty vehicle chassis repair and maintenance as needed. Repairs include installed and mounted truck equipment. Examples: Snow/Ice equipment, air compressors, power lift gates, cranes, emergency lighting, etc.
- Completes required documentation of work performed utilizing assigned methods combining paper and electronic tracking systems. Documentation may include but not limited to new and used equipment installations, vehicle and equipment repair, documenting all equipment, parts and supplies utilized for repairs, and accounts for individual labor times.
- Performs diagnosis and repair of maintained systems. These may include electrical, hydraulic, suspension, drive train, engine, various bodies and equipment supported by Zoresco Equipment.
- Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate repairs as authorized.
- Monitors personal productivity on a daily basis. Communicate closely with team leader to exceed efficiency expectations.
- Advises team leader immediately if additional work is needed to ensure top quality work or customer satisfaction.
- Supports team to maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Technician work is performed in an open vehicle repair shop environment. Incumbents are exposed to the elements, noise of machinery and vehicles, fumes, exhaust emissions, grease, engine oils, solvents, chemicals, dust, electrical hazards, mechanical hazards, vehicle hazards and vibrations. Incumbents stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, reach, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Incumbents may work above shoulder level with power and /or hand tools weighing up to 20 pounds and in wide-ranging positions. Incumbents must be able to meet the physical requirements of the positions and have mobility, vision, hearing, sense of smell and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties to be performed. Mobile technicians may be required to work in the outdoor elements of summer and winter months.
