Located in Evans City, this location provides additional full service production to customers north of Pittsburgh and beyond, providing installation of bodies and equipment, as well as over the counter sales.

Zoresco’s Truck Equipment Technician provides technical installation services for all truck equipment. Technicians will assist in the scheduling and execution of all new production, maintenance, and service for the location they are assigned. Candidates must have the ability to successfully install, troubleshoot, and repair truck equipment. 

Truck equipment involved includes but not limited to: Snow and ice equipment, cranes, lift gates, air compressors, welders, inverters, emergency lighting and a multitude of truck bodies that will include dumps, service, utility, platforms, and custom builds. 

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED required.

1+ years in truck equipment or related field.

Technical knowledge to perform installs and repairs in a timely manner.

Flexible and supportive team attitude and contribution toward process improvement

Detail oriented, self-sufficient professional with a “make it happen" attitude & approach.

Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Ability to pass a pre-employment substance screening.

 

DUTIES:

Efficient quality installations of truck equipment.

Accurately record production and repair times per job order.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Vocational training in body work/vehicle repair or equivalent experience

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Ability to read and understand trucks specifications document

Ability to communicate and understand in English

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Ability to pass a pre-employment substance screening

CDL class B license is a plus

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Provide sales quotes both electronically and by telephone as needed.
  • Ensure accurate quotes with all necessary equipment and accessories to meet and exceed customer’s truck functionality expectations.
  • Participate in production meetings to accurately communicate customer’s delivery expectations
  • Become a truck equipment expert in all products represented by Zoresco
  • Increase Zoresco divisional product sales, to achieve defined sales targets
  • Increase awareness  and name recognition of all Zoresco products and services


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive sales calls from customers and sales employees to provide accurate and timely quotes.
  • Assure that customer’s equipment needs and preferences are met by entering copious notes for the technician building, servicing or assembling the order.
  • Address customer complaints and/or inquiries promptly.
  • Become proficient in the use of proprietary computer software.
  • Provide telephone and computer assistance throughout our business in support of exceeding our customer’s expectations.  Answering telephones as needed.
  • Call on and support appropriate customers in the field.
  • Complete a needs analysis of potential customers.
  • Assist other departments as needed, to include parts and service counter.
  • Extreme attention to detail on every order.
  • Report competitive activity.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, complete administrative tasks correctly and on time; support organization's goals and values.

REPORTS TO: Director of Sourcing and Supply

Our Company is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to help maintain pre-set inventory levels for production. The right candidate needs to have a Can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Create purchase orders for stock and demand, based on reports for multiple locations
  • Review and maintain re-order points for stock parts
  • Reconcile purchase order confirmations
  • Negotiate best pricing for quantity purchases and freight
  • Source alternative products
  • Support the departments daily purchasing requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review daily reports and purchase parts as needed for multiple locations
  • Review stocking levels and create purchase orders for parts as needed for multiple locations
  • Source alternative parts for production
  • Negotiate with suppliers to get the best pricing for parts and freight
  • Enter purchase orders on computer system and send to the suppliers in a timely manner
  • Review order confirmations to confirm the accuracy of the order against our purchase order
  • Update computer system with accurate estimated arrival dates for all equipment ordered
  • Maintain effective supplier follow up procedures to ensure timely arrival of equipment ordered
  • Follow the established purchasing systems
  • Support the Company Mission Statement

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Positive, cooperative and Can-do attitude
  • Strong computer skills including Office suite including heavy email responsibilities and good knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills
